Utica TS-30 Torque Driver 6-30 in-lb Adjustable Screwdriver with 1/4" Hex Bit Collet Adapter, Case, and Manual The Utica TS-30 torque screwdriver has a 1/4" socket to easily adapt to your hex or socket tooling. 1 feature I like about this tool is the collet style ¼" hex receptacle that tightens to hold the bit in place in the tool. No more dropped bits or tooling left behind in the fastener! Simply use this as a normal screwdriver. Once the desired torque is reached, the driver "slips, " and no additional torque can be applied. Another feature of this model tool is its easily changeable torque settings that lock in place after setting. This tool is adjustable from six to 30in-pounds in 2in-pound increments, adapting this tool to each joint's requirements. Of course, this is a disadvantage in assembly-line situations where you don't want the operator to change the settings. Many tools are only changeable using a hex key in a hidden slot. Custom torque calibration: For an additional $10 fee I can use my calibrated torque analyzer to set the torque settings of this tool to any value within the tool's limits. However, my custom calibration is not guaranteed to ISO 6789 standards. Condition: This tool is in exceptional condition. It was used to assemble electronic equipment. It is very durable and will last you many years. Any cosmetic scratches in no way affect functionality. The Simco standards lab ISO calibration has expired, but these tools are very stable and it is likely still accurate.
