Join the Santa Rosa Headquarters Keysight Technologies Workplace Solutions Team (WPS) as the Facilities Engineer, providing systems engineering oversight for all Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping (MEP) systems on a 750ksf campus that includes mixed manufacturing spaces including a 3 Wafer Fab, Water Treatment Plant, Solar Array and 4.3 MW Bloom Fuel Cell System. The infrastructure is controlled and monitored by a Building Automation Systems (BAS) which is programmed & monitored by WPS.

This position reports to the Santa Rosa Site Manager and provides oversight of the sitewide MEP systems, vendor management of the MEP system operation and preventative maintenance performed by CBRE, the WPS facilities operations and maintenance service provider. Facilities Engineering
Responsibilities:
Leading the effort in analyzing, documenting, and recommending MEP Capital Investments,
Working with CBRE to establish processes and best practices for implementing and maintaining the MEP infrastructure and equipment.
Performing analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and recommend and implement improvements.
Provides design and engineering support/oversight for power, energy, and MEP infrastructure projects.
Develops, evaluates, and implements facilities systems, products, and applications. Conducts research, performs tests, and modifies MEP equipment in order to increase the efficiency and quality of the system efficiency and operational reliability within the operating budget constraints.
Prepares facilities concept designs and perform calculations in support of water, environmental, advanced manufacturing, and energy brands, incorporating all manufacturing technical requirements and specifications.
Creates conceptual/feasibility reports, cost estimations, concept design drawings, as necessary to convey scope and direction to 3 rd party MEP engineers and/or equipment providers.
Leads facilities-focused large MEP projects
Performs power system studies on MEP systems
Assists with project scheduling and helps to monitor project budget and timeline.
Recommends safety improvements and adheres to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to power, energy and infrastructure projects.
Oversees 3 rd party design-build services on the more large-scale Fire Life Safety systems - such as fire alarm, and public address, systems.
Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Facilities Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SAP, and MS Office.
Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills.
