Health Technician (Audiology)

Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts. Ability to read; reading 25% of the time on computers, repetitive motions, i.e. typing. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:
Time in Grade applies to advancement to a General Schedule (GS) position in the competitive service by and individual who within the previous 52 weeks has held a position under non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service. You must indicate on your application the time period that you meet these time-in-grade requirements. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. There is no specialized experience required at this grade level. Experience at this level would include customer service, computer skills, data gathering and storing, etc. GS-7:
Specialized experience as a Health Technician at this level is required. Experience at this level may include:
managing walk in appointments, cleaning and care of equipment used, screening patients appointments, gathering information about patients, such as medical history, etc. Position Description Number:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
