Supervisory Airway Transportation Systems Specialist

Serves as the Supervisor of a Technical Operation SSC. The incumbent has responsibility for administrative and technical direction of the assigned staff consisting of specialist, technicians, and other FAA support staff involved in providing NAS. Incumbent is responsible for the management of resources (people, funds, and equipment) to meet the goal of continuous safe reliable air travel. Reports directly to a District Office Manager.Directs the work of subordinate employees for more than one organizational unit/project/program within a major subdivision. Duties typically include planning/communicating the organization's vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance, coaching developing employee capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate.Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, an advanced knowledge of budget, human resources and other administrative policies and procedures, and an advance understanding of the objectives of the organization.Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the SSC. Experience:
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I or FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience may include but not limited to:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
